Fall For The Dress

Designer Diane von Furstenberg famously said of her new wrap dress in the 70s to Women's Wear Daily, "Feel like a woman, wear a dress", and it is the case that such a decision remains true today.
Fashion allows us numerous choices each morning when we wake up to go to work or dress up for an evening out. So to choose a dress and own it is a statement of ownership, of beauty and confidence in yourself.
The decision making process of pairing trousers or a skirt with a blouse is an opportunity for creativity and style, but sometimes, you simply want to walk out the door in one piece not having to worry whether you choose the correct shade of pink to flatter your print skirt. Making the decision to wear a dress however is simple, top to bottom done! Now just skip ahead to the accessories and shoes.

Candy Crush

Blogging about the excitement of having a crush. The Furla Candy Bag!
I love this bag. It is classic in shape, but unique and different in color and material. This is a great fun bag to take along during the day. The color reminds me of a freshly blown gum and it is definitely eye candy as well.

The Lady and Her Hat

As I fancied an adventure I decided to wear this little hat that I bought not long time ago in Beijing when I went to visit the Great Wall of China.
If you are one of those people who thinks, 'Nooo I cannot pull of hats, they don't look good on me", I feel you. But you can be wrong. Hats aren't just for bad hair days. Nothing elevates an outfit quite like the right hat. Just keep the vibe ladylike with neutral, polished accessories and a pop of bright lipstick. Keep calm and panda on!

Sunflowers Blossom

Something about a dizzy summer, something about the heat and the smell of the city, fresh cut flowers, asphalt, something about bright shoes clacking down the streets. Something about the exact shade in the sky. Something about the quiet and the confusion. Something about fall being close, another year, another beginning. So much in one flower...

Paper flowers

Since for a while now drawing became an important part of my life I want to share with you few of them. Each of my drawing is very personal, based on my own experiences. I feel like a sleepwalker when I am drawing who is lost between dreams and reality.
So if you're into messy drawings made for the kind of people and places that make home out of them have a look into my works and enter this surreal world and find your own connection with the stories told.
I was asked before why all my drawings looks so sad. It's because I believe in building something great out of broken things. I draw about trying to hold on to things. There's just so much story to tell. I don't know what I'm supposed to do with what's left of them. So I draw. It's never about turning the stories that happened to me into something comfortable to remember. It is about what they did to me and what I did with them.
I draw because we forget too soon the things we thought we could never forget. We forget the loves and the betrayals, forget what we whispered and what we screamed, forget who we were.
So here's my advice to you. Stay close to anything that makes you feel alive. No matter what that is.
Wound
I could't breath to save my life
Lost soul bunny
Little thief
He loves me not
Blue day
Far away
Her sweet dream
Bird funeral
Secret friend
Love song
Leaving poem
Peace
Almost home

A Study in Contrasts

In seasons of sterile minimalism or blinding clashing brights, wearing all this colors and prints gives me a burst of excitement.
It's difficult to wear colors and prints in the same time because it requires confidence and commitment. But women who wear colors lead colorful lives and that's a combination that works all year round!

Little Dream Dress

Dream dress that my Mom made it for me and it's really kick ass and I love it more than most things.
You may say that it's just a dress. But there's a story behind everything. How a dress got on you. How a picture got on a wall. How a scar got on your face. Sometimes the stories are simple, and sometimes they are hard and heartbreaking. But behind all your stories is always your mother's story. Because hers is where yours begin.

My Little Pony

After a well-deserved break Pony Pink is back and the t-shirt that I was wearing in these pics reminded me that was about time.
And this makes me all of a sudden wondering why do we go away?
So that we can come back. So that we can see the place we came from with new eyes and extra colors, and the people there see us differently, too. Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving...
